What's it cost?

Participation in your town’s Maptown Project is a flat $300
This gets your business location, service vehicle or specialty promotion (ex. ReMax hot air balloon) with exact signage and either a phone number, website or email. See what's included in participation below.
If you have more than one for-profit business, there is a 15% discount for each of your participating businesses.

For an additional $75, get advertisement of your business on large, full-color brochures featuring the map and fun facts about your town. You will get 1000 of these high-quality quad-fold brochures, which will also be available through your Chamber of Commerce or business development organization. These brochures will provide high-impact promotional benefit, driving local and visitor interest to YOUR business and the community as a whole.

What's included in participation?

• A gallery-quality print for you to enjoy personally or provide as a gift or keepsake. 

This print is suitable for framing in your business, home, or a community location.
Prints are at least 18" x 24", digitally produced on acid-free paper, and will retain color quality for years to come.
Please note that while any non-profit businesses that are included in the map free-of-charge, 18"x24" printed maps are not included with sign-up for participation by non-profit businesses. Additional prints can purchased separately from the Maptown Project SHOP found here

• A promotional and advertising investment that is viewed and enjoyed for years.

Dollar-for-dollar, your town map will outlast any other advertising media, making it a great investment.
Historically, Maptown Project maps have proven to be resilient keepsakes and promotional mementos that provide town residents, business owners, and tourists years of fun and interesting way to learn about your town. Your business will be finely rendered with perfect replication of your business signage with either phone or email. 

• Specialty products through the Maptown Project SHOP.

You and your business can order specialty items that are specific and tailored to feature your participation in your town's map. 
Some examples are mugs, placemats, additional posters, coasters, T-shirts, and postcards. Please visit our shop HERE.  

Will I see what my business and signage looks like before the map is printed?

Definitely. We will send notification via social media and this site where you can review signage via a web link where you can see your business and signage as it would appear on the map.

Do I need to pay immediately and how do I pay?

No. Sign up for now so we know you are participating. Payment is due after you've signed off on your proof, which will be sent to you via email. Receipts provided with all forms of payment. While personal checks and cash are accepted, payments can be made via:

  • Credit cards on this site

  • Zelle

  • Venmo

  • PayPal

How can I see how the map of my town is going?

We'll be keeping a running blog throughout every town map we make. Once we begin, check back to this site and select "Blogs" for up-to-the-minute reports and pictures of your town map's progress. 

Will I get to see my business and signage before the map is printed?

Absolutely. We will send to your email address a web link and online approval form to approve your business and signage. You can provide comments for change or if it looks good, just click "approved!".

What if I'm unhappy with my business on the map?

While we hope you will be delighted with the result of your participation on your town's maptown project, we will refund you fully for the cost of your participation and remove your business from your town's map. 

Can I get additional maps?

Of course! We can even produce a custom size for you. You can also pick up custom T-shirts, mugs, placemats, coasters, and more in the Maptown Project SHOP. Just look for your town in the list.
